Appalachian District School of Ministry (AD-SOM)
The Appalachian District School of Ministry began in 1997 as a grassroots means of training men and women of God for service in the local church and to prepare for satisfactorily meeting educational requirements for credentialing application with the Assemblies of God. Like so many other times in our movement’s rich heritage, what began as a single effort has now grown into a national means of ministerial equipping known as the Association of District Schools of Ministry, an entity recognized and endorsed by the Executive Presbytery of the Assemblies of God.
